Elka got the DP8K certification for its USB 3.1 Type-C to DisplayPort cable in November 2018. It is now available for mass-production starting January 2019.
This cable is designed for bi-directional data transmission. It will be the proper way to connect a USB-C device to a DP monitor or connect a DP device to an Ultra HD monitor embedded with a USB-C port.
